We’ve designed our rehoming process to be safe, simple, and stress-free — for both our dachshunds and their new families.

Tell Us About Your Pet

Start by filling out our rehoming form. The more information you share about your pet’s personality, habits, routines, and needs, the better we can understand how to help.
Evaluation & Intake

Our team will review your submission and reach out. Depending on space and your pet’s needs, we may schedule an intake appointment or connect you with one of our trusted foster families.
Veterinary Check & Care

Once in our care, your pet receives a wellness check and any necessary support — from nutrition to comfort to socialization. We make sure they are happy, safe, and settling in.
Finding the Perfect Home

We carefully screen and interview potential adopters to ensure your pet is placed in a loving, stable, and suitable forever home. We never rush the process — the goal is long-term happiness and security.
Updates & Peace of Mind

We know letting go is emotional. Upon request, we offer updates or photos so you can feel at peace knowing your pet is thriving in a new family.
